Jenna Garmon

Portland, OR

For over two decades, I have worked to protect and restore healthy landscapes and vibrant communities. My broad-based, interdisciplinary career has spanned habitat conservation and restoration, climate change, regional land use planning and green building. I currently serve as Metro’s Sustainability Coordinator, working with staff across the organization to achieve Metro’s ambitious internal sustainability goals. Previously, I furthered pathways to a low carbon future for Climate Solutions, advanced sustainable building practices for the City of Eugene, coordinated stewardship and outreach activities for the Long Tom Watershed Council, directed community affairs for the Environmental Defense Center and developed long range land use policy for Santa Barbara County. I have an MS in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon.

I'm a collaborator at heart with a passion for restoring the health and vitality of the planet and all those who inhabit it.
